Lolita Demers, an art teacher with more than 35 years of experience, has designed 3 different classes for children age 8 to 12 years old.  Join any of these classes (or all three) to relax and have fun with your friends.  No prior experience needed.

Week 1 on October 11: Build a fall tree with lots of colorful leaves using construction paper, felt, glue, beads, found objects, etc.  Bring your project home at the end of the lesson.

Week 2 on October 18: Create your own mask that you could potentially wear for Halloween.  Using feathers, felt, found objects, glue, strings, etc., Lolita will guide the students to use their own creativity to build a mask from scratch.  Take your make home at the end of class.

Week 3 on October 25: Create a puppet using colorful felt, strings, glue, found objects, beads, paper, etc.  Once you create your puppets, you'll be able to play with them and take them home.

Note: a minimum of 4 children will be required to run this class.

$52.50 (this class is offered at half price)

Tom Whiting will teach how to use the tablet or the computer screen to create digital art using Sketchbook (compatible with all platforms) with a stylus.  Participants will be invited to follow along.  Tom will focus teaching with the Sketchbook software to create digital art although he is familiar with several digital art software.  The target audience is adults, age 18+.

Tom focuses on digital drawing and painting, which appeals to him because of its similarity to working with physical art tools. Very similar to painting and drawing with physical media, Tom works mostly in a realistic style.
